DESCRIPTION:First observed in 2012\, Giving Tuesday (sometimes styled as #givingtuesday) is an internationally recognized day of giving back. Occurring on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving\, this holiday takes the spirit of giving thanks that we feel each year and puts it towards making a real difference in our community. The holiday has been recognized here in Arizona for that entire time\, where it is celebrated alongside Black Friday\, Cyber Monday\, and Small Business Saturday. \nThis year’s Giving Tuesday 2023 is on Tuesday\, November 28. \n\n\nYour contribution makes a world of a difference in the lives of our Members.\n\nA donation to The Opportunity Tree supports dynamic\, innovative\, & holistic programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state of Arizona. In addition to supporting 250 Members day-to-day\, we connect over 1000 individuals with programs and services each year. Your donation supports our adult day programs\, Special Olympics Fireslammers team\, youth afterschool programs\, supported aging programming for older adults\, employment services\, and community living.
