Finley’s Story

Finley has been part of our Avondale campus for 3 years, starting in the Tree Fort youth program. Now, as she prepares to graduate from high school, she’s excited to join our LEAF adult program and explore job opportunities through SEEDS Employment Services. Finley is eager to gain independence, start working, and keep up with her favorite hobby—bowling! Your support helps young adults like Finley take the next step toward meaningful careers and confident futures.

Billy’s Story

Billy has been connected with The Opportunity Tree since the 90s, always radiating joy and positivity. While working many jobs over the years, he managed a demanding schedule and found happiness in dancing while working. Now, years later, Billy is a proud member of our Fireslammer Special Olympics team, where he continues to spread joy and engage with everyone around him. By donating to The Opportunity Tree, you help Billy and his Fireslammer teammates practice and enhance their sports skills as they prepare for tournaments.

Mayra’s Story

Mayra joined The Opportunity Tree right after high school, starting her first job through our Supported Employment Program. She worked at our front desk, learning valuable skills like greeting visitors, managing calls, and communicating with staff. With support and determination, she transitioned to a job at Goodwill—moving from full-time coaching supports to working independently. Recently, Mayra proudly earned a certificate celebrating one full year of successful employment. Your support helps create real pathways to independence for young adults like Mayra.
