Screen reader compatibility
The Opportunity Tree works to ensure that our websites and applications are screen reader compatible and guided by the standards recommended by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Many The Opportunity Tree-produced videos include captioning. For The Opportunity Tree-produced videos where captions are not currently offered, alternatives may be available. You can send a request to info@theopportunitytree.org.
Accessibility Tools
The icon of a person on the upper-left hand side of the screen is our Accessibility Tools. This can help you utilize the following accessibility features from any device:

Color contrast ratio testing
The Opportunity Tree is committed to ensuring that text is legible. We utilize industry standard software to test the color contrast ratio of text onsite. If you find that text is still difficult to read for any reason, email us at info@theopportunitytree.org and we will happily work to make text accessible, and rectify the situation.
Third-party content, distribution channels and venues
The Opportunity Tree works with third parties in a variety of ways. In some cases, we distribute content that was produced by third parties and not by The Opportunity Tree. In other cases, third parties distribute The Opportunity Tree-produced content on platforms that are controlled by those third parties and not by The Opportunity Tree. While The Opportunity Tree works with third-party content creators, distribution channels, and venues to consider accessibility, The Opportunity Tree does not control how third parties operate. Certain features and experiences may be different than those usually provided by The Opportunity Tree.
