Group Home and Individually Designed Living Arrangement (IDLA) models are tailored to ensure each home inspires our members to strive for the best.
The Opportunity Tree Residential Services offer individualized settings for members to make a home. This is possible through two models: Group Homes and IDLAs. In The Opportunity Tree Group Homes, member choice is the focus and individuals participate in community immersion activities and home activities to enhance independence and social skills. In IDLAs, members own or rent their own home and The Opportunity Tree Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide respite, attendant care and/or habilitation services to support each member in independence. IDLAs are supported for individual members or a group of self-selected housemates. Members and their families choose DSPs to best fit the needs of the members. Family involvement is encouraged in The Opportunity Tree residential programs to promote a family environment in all residential services.
